UBuntu Bridge has been selling unique, intuitively-designed for teen-age to adult learners and highly popular audio learning materials since 2005. Our new improved Xhosa materials have just been completed (May 2011) and are now for SALE.
- Each Level comprises an A5 manual with 2 Audio Cds (it used to be just one).
- The CDs are interactive in that they leave a space between the English and the Xhosa/Zulu for you to pre-empt the answer and then another gap after the Xhosa/Zulu for you to repeat the Xhosa/Zulu out loud. This helps the mind remember phrases, vocab, constructs, but also helps one begin to emulate the sounds and get a feel for the rhythm and sound of the language. See audio samples below..
- Each Level covers 6 Lessons, which have been specifically structured as conversational building blocks, based on learning Xhosa/Zulu as a non-mother tongue speaker.
- Each lesson has historical and cultural insights and the various ways in which behaviours manifest in modern times.
- Included are tips for identifying Xhosa/Zulu people, as well as identifying the typical questions you get asked when striking up Xhosa/Zulu conversations with people
- Each lesson has an 'essentials' test at the end and a sample conversation, relating to that lesson's grammar and vocab. These conversations have a 'breakdown' track first where you can learn each phrase individually, then followed by the conversation in real time.
- These materials are fun, well-designed and confidence-building.

- Daily Phrase CD: Includes all phrases from CDs 1 and 2, Perfect for revision and quick learners. CD and A6 mini pocket manual.
- Conversations CD: This 2 x Cd and manual set is just a collation of all the conversations as found in Levels 1-3 plus a few extras. Its for students who may have old versions of our materials or for learners who have some grammatical basis and are seeking conversational samples from which to listen and learn.
- Village Phrase CD: Is designed for people going to spend time in a rural village, includes appropriate vocab and relevant phrases. A6 mini manual and Audio Cd.

UB has a new shop and office in Cavendish Close, Claremont. Officially opening in Jan 2011, it will be a central platform from where to manifest our missions.
